Terminating a Listing |
| |
 |
I have a realtor who works for century 21 in Wisconsin and I want to terminate our contract. How do I go about doing this? |

Your listing contract was made with the brokerage, not with the individual agent. Contact the managing broker in that office. Sometimes you may be asked to reimburse the company for its out-of-pocket expenses (advertising for example) but you always have the right to withdraw a listing. Depending on the provisions in the listing contract, of course, this would not relieve you of any obligation you might have if you later sold to someone who was introduced to the property while it was listed. |
