we are selling our home ourselves. What time deadline should we allow for each "thing" to be done...loan approval, inspection, appraisal, closing? |

Some of those items will be stipulated in your buyer's written offer, and whether you go along with them depends on the buyer's particular situation, on yours, on the mortgage market in your area, on local customs, and on a lot of other things I don't know. If you want help with negotiating a binding sales contract, perhaps you could hire a local broker by the hour to help with that part of the work. Or -- more expensive -- rely on your lawyer. |
