Selling After Six Months |

My husband and I bought our first home about 6 months ago, thinking that we would be settling in the area for at least a few years. We have now decided to relocate for better career and education opportunities. How bad of an idea is it to sell after only 6 months? |

My guess is that given the legal costs of buying and selling, you'll be out some money. I hope your mortgage doesn't carry a pre-payment penalty; not too many do these days. But there's no point in staying there if it doesn't suit your future plans. Good luck to you. |
