Saw the House with Two Agents

I am the seller. A potential buyer came to see the house with his agent and showed extreme interest. Then, the potential buyer came again on his own when the house was open to the public. He asked for disclosure.

My agent told him will fax disclosure to his agent and also called his agent. Found out the buyer had another agent showed him houses before.

Can my agent accept an offer coming from his other agent or must be from the same agent who showed him our house in the first place. Any legal ramifications?

Thanks!

Your agent is legally bound to act in your best interest, which would, I think, include accepting an offer from a qualified buyer. The question of which other agent is entitled to a share of the commission needn't concern you. It's a matter to be settled between the ones who worked with that buyer, and shouldn't have anything to do with your progress toward a binding sales agreement.
