I am preparing to list a commercial building for sale. What would the length of a typical commercial listing agreement be? The company I'm dealing with wants a 9 month exclusive listing.

It can take longer to market commercial property than it would to sell a residential property. I cannot speak for customs in your area. I'd advise contacting more than one brokerage. You'll have a better idea of what's typical after you've spoken with other agents, and you may benefit from their advice, or even decide to list elsewhere. |
