Good Luck With Timeshares |
| |
 |
Edith: You wrote recently that “people who have good experiences with timeshares are not the ones who write me.” Well, we’ve owned timeshares for over 30 years, and enjoyed them immensely. The secret is being flexible when attempting to make exchanges. Obviously, if you own a week at a Maine resort in January, and want to trade for a week in Hawaii, or a block from Disneyworld, it won’t happen. In a publication named “Timesharing Today,” many owners sell and buy weeks through advertisements. Plus there are great articles, tips, both pro and con, by owners. It’s inexpensive and worthwhile. You might want to mention it. Maybe you’d get more positive letters from readers. |

Okay, but I have to be careful. Sometimes the positive letters I get (not yours, I’m sure) are from people just trying to sneak in a free plug for their own products.
