I purchased a home with another individual 7 years ago. We broke up over a year ago. As promised he made his portion of the house payment for a few months. But, he has not made a payment in over 6 months. We have had it on the market for a year and I cannot handle the payment alone. He simply bailed. How can I protect myself? What are my options here? |

Your one option is to reduce your price till it hits a level that attracts buyers. I just hope that's enough to pay off the loan, and that you can reach an amicable agreement about a fair distribution of any proceeds. |
