We purchased a house 5 years ago with our then unmarried daughter.We have been paying the mortgage for the past three years.Our dauger has since married & left the home.We live in the house now.Our daughters name is on the mortgage along with ours.How can we get our daughters name of the mortgage.Our mortgage company tells us we have to reapply for another mortgage.Is there another way aside from paying the mortgage in full. |

Sometimes they'll agree to take your daughter's name off the loan if you can prove you've been making those payments entirely on your own. You can ask about that -- otherwise I don't know how she can be released. |
