New Credit Guidelines

Dear Edith: Is it possible to get a copy of the letter, or email I believe was in the paper recently about the way credit companies now look at outstanding credit available?. I believe they used to count available credit against you and according to your article they now give credit scoring if that available credit isn’t being used

Yes, part of your credit score these days is a ratio of your present debts compared to how much you could be borrowing. If you’re using your available credit sparingly, you get extra points
