Mortgage At Death

Hi there. My husband and I have our home in his name only.He is the only one on mortgage and the deed.He is 53 and I am 47.We are in good health .

If he were to die would I have the chance to continue paying the mortgage payments and keep our home or would the bank make me go through the whole process of getting a new mortgage loan?

Lenders do not usually call in a mortgage loan when there is a family transfer of title because of death.
