I was just told that i was being laid off. I also just had a bid accepted on a house and the loan was not approved yet by the under writer. they are going to verify the employement 2 times should I tell the loan officer I am looking for another job like theres no tomorrow what should I do |

I wish I had advice for you, but all I can offer you is sympathy. Perhaps you ought to consider forgetting about the purchase -- what if you don't find a job promptly, how will you make the mortgage payments? If your purchase contract is "subject to buyer obtaining financing" then being turned down for the mortgage should be enough to make the contract void, and you should receive your earnest money back. Then you could start all over again when things have straightened out. |
