What's a Bedroom |
| |
 |
Does a "bedroom" in Massachusetts to be considered a bedroom have to have a closet????? |
| |
| |
 |
As you realize, the legal definition of a bedroom varies from one place to another. Sometimes doors and windows are involved, heat, ceiling heights, outside walls, sometimes--but not always--a closet. Think--especially in Massachusetts -- of landmark houses built in the days when clothing was kept in a separate wardrobe or press, in what were clearly bedchambers. To find out local requirements, call your town's building department. |
