May a Full-Sale Offer be Refused?

If a house is listed for sale, and an offer is made for the actual Listing Price, does the seller have the legal right to decline the offer and/or pull their house off the market? Thanks.

I suspect that one has been fought out in the courts more than once.  Some lawyers feel the original listing was an offer to sell, and that a full-price response is a binding acceptance.  Other attorneys have told me "The seller could always find something -- perhaps the proposed closing date is unacceptable."

For this one, as usual, I'm going to pass and suggest you go to your own lawyer.
