How It Worked Out
	Dear Edith: Thank you for answering my last letter. I was having lots of trouble getting our security deposit returned because the apartment had been sold just before we moved and no one would admit responsibility. You suggested small claims court. You told me the new owners owed me that money whether or not it was turned over by the old landlord. So I wrote a letter to the owners saying I was finally resorting to outside help and had contacted Senior Legal Aid. That I was advised to write and give them sixty (60) days to return the deposit. A few days later I got my check. I don’t even know if there is any “Senior Legal Aid”. I just made that up

	It’s always interesting when someone writes a note reporting how things worked out, but I must admit yours was a bit different. Thanks for the chuckle.
