Fence Problem |

I'm having a boundary line problem with my neighbor. We had the lot surveyed about 7 years ago and it was surveyed without reference to the original deed. The survey that was done was never recorded. Is the original deed that is recorded valid? Also, if the neighbor puts up a fence separating the two front yards, what say do I have about the type of fence put up? |

Your town or city may have some regulations on type or size of fence. Beyond that, I don't think you have much say as long as the fence is on your neighbor's land. If it's exactly on the boundary (if that's allowed) it will be a different matter. You may want to make a quick phone call to your lawyer for advice. If things get really bad, look in the yellow pages for Mediation Services. |
