Error in Deed |
| |
 |
My title company didn't deed my property correctly and now I am being told I must pay back taxes immediately or the land that was not included in the deed will be sold. Shouldn't the title company be responsible? |

First of all, you do owe taxes if you own the land. You owe the taxes whether you received a bill or not.
The title company should certainly clear up any problem with your deed. If a lot of money is involved, you should consult a real estate lawyer. If you feel your damages are only a few thousand dollars, you could represent yourself in small claims court and see what a judge has to say. |
