Unfortunately, my property could be taken over by eminent domain.. I would like to know how they determine the"fair market value" of your home/property. That is what we were told they would give us for the property. Are there any special mortgage programs available to victims of this ungodly act? If so, could you please direct me to them so I can start the process of research for this matter. |

Your home will be appraised by a qualified professional for fair market value, what you'd be likely to get if you put it on the open market. If you disagree, you can talk with a real estate lawyer about how to challenge the figure.
Sorry, but I don't know of any special mortgage programs that would help. |
