Dear Edith: I got my house after a divorce long ago with a quit claim deed. Now I am 63 and thinking about putting my affairs in order. Can you explain a warranty deed and should I get one? What about title insurance? I do have an abstract, is this a good time to have it brought up to date? I want to get all my ducks in a row for my kids to deal with. |
