Where to Start |

 |
I plan on getting into real estate investing, no time soon. My question is where would one start with no money. I know its foolish to think that I could invest in property with no experience and no money, I just want to know the basics of how to start and what things could be done to work towards that goal. |

I'd advise you to take the pre-license course offered in your area for beginning real estate salespersons. You'll get a basic overview of real estate law and finance, and learn the vocabulary you'll need as an investor. You'll also meet people who might be interested in helping you toward your goal. I'd also recommend a book like, for example, Real Estate Investing for Dummies. If you can find a broker who wants to help you, perhaps you can link up with an experienced investor who is tired of the running-around work and willing to go partners with you in some small venture. It will help if you have a good credit record, so that you don't represent a risk. That's a good way to start, getting an education while you work at it. Let me know what happens; I'm interested.
