Single family home conversion into a 2 family home - we are one of the last single family homes in our neighborhood. We would like to understand if it make sense to convert our home in order to help with bills and improve resale. |

If most of your neighborhood incudes rental units, it's probably okay to convert your place. I can't say more because I don't know how much it would cost to convert, how much rents go for in your area, whether you're prepared to be landlords, or anything about your financial situation. |
