House Needs Work |

I am 67, and unfortunately have cancer. My house needs some work, especially the driveway, front walk, kitchen and bath. I am asking if its a good idea to have these fixed now, or not at all. I have the money to fix these areas. |

You don't say whether you want to sell your home in the near future. If you do, call a few real estate offices that are located near you, or call the phone numbers on "for sale" signs in your neighborhood. YOu can ask agents to come out and give you advice, and you will not have any obligation to them. They can see what work, if any, should be done before a sale. I can't judge from here.
If you don't want to sell your home, then the question of repairs is really a personal matter. All I can do is wish you a good recovery. I know it can be a hard time, but with any luck it will lead to remission. |
