Home Owners Meeting

I am a condo owner since Apr.'06 and have never been notified of an HOA meeting. I received a notice for 4 months dues and 4 late fees. It appears that the management has resorted to renting all of the units they haven't been able to sell. What's the legal ratio of owned vs. rented?

I'm under the impression that it's mostly mortgage lenders who insist on limits for rented vs owned units.  But at any rate, the answer to both your questions, about homeowner association meetings and about number of rental units, probably lies in the association documents you should have received when you bought your unit.  And you will end up in touble if you don't pay your dues, preferably on time.
