Wife Won't Sign |

I went to my closing and found out that the wife of the seller has homestead rights and does not want to sign the release to sell. She is not on any of the contracts but is still legally married to the seller. Do I have any options? |

You need to get your answer from a lawyer. I'm not an attorney, but if you want my opinion, my guess is that you're entitled to get your earnest money deposit back. I don't see how you can buy unless there's a way to persuade her to sign. |
