Using Another Agent |
| |
 |
i am trying to buy a short sale, my ? is concerning legal level of firing my agent & hiring another for the property my qst agent introduced me to.
re: My agent (no conctract) but she tells me that she sold the home i am trying to buy to the seller 2 years ago, then tried to sell the same home for them when they defaulted on their loan recently, she couldn't sell it so they got a different agent to sell now that it is in a short sale.
But the seller is still calling my agent,
? is: is this a confilct of interest reprsenting me.
i told her she doesn't show that my best interest is 1st,more like just trying to make sure the seller stops foreclosure by getting me to hurry and put in an offer.
can i get anohter agent to put an offer in on this property? |

Unless you hired that agent to represent you, with a written contract, you are free to work with anyone you prefer. There may be some fuss about how the commission should be split, but that needn't be your concern. Just be honest with the new agent you want to represent you, and explain what's happened up to this point. It is true, though, that if it's a short sale it's a good idea to hurry to stave off foreclosure. |
