  I was looking up some homes for sale on the internet and they had total crime index (4), personal index (4), and culture index (113). What do these numbers mean??

I haven't the slightest idea.  Well, I have one idea -- total crime index usually means crime per thousand people (probably annually?) in that area.  If someone knows the answer, or if you can tell me what particular Internet site you were viewing, perhaps we an find out more.
