Tenants Aren't Paying |
| |
 |
I hold a contract for deed and the tenants have been late (at least 15 days) every month since the the contract for deed was drawn up. They were billed for the homeowners insurance in Feb with a 30 day notice to pay and didn't (it is June 20th) Do I need a lawyer or can I send them my forclosure intention with the balance of the mortgage due on my own and get a court date set on my own. This is for Citrus County FL |

You should see a lawyer as quickly as possible. If that house should burn down, you could really be out of luck--you may want to step in and pay the premium yourself just to be safe. Take all the papers you have to your real estate attorney to find out just where you stand and what you can do about it. Don't wait. |
