I have a sun porch on the back of my house. Would it add more value to my house if I turn it into a family room or should I leave it as a sun porch?

This is another of those questions that's best answered by an experienced broker who knows your neighborhod. What's the price level in your area, what are buyers' expectations, how much would it cost to do the conversion, how long are you planning to stay in the house, do you want the family room for your own use or simply as an investment, how does your house compare with its neighbors -- all of that enters into it. Don't hesitate to call a couple of local brokerages and ask for advice. |
