Selling Off a Lot |

We own 3 1/3 acres and the home sits in the back of the property. Can we sell the front property? We still owe on the property. |

Your local zoning authorities can tell you the requirements for a buildable lot; call your town or village hall. But if that land is part of the security for your mortgage loan, you'd need your lender's permission to sell of some of it, and you'd probably be required to pay off some of the loan at the time you sold. |
