is it easier or faster to sell a business (country convenience store/deli with apartment and 5 acres) while it is open and running or after we close it down for good. it's not as busy as we thought it would be and we may need to sell. we bought it when it was closedand empty. also if we sell it as a turnkey business would the buyer then have to see the books?
thank you for any advice you can give me
sharon
It's difficult for me to answer your questions because I haven't seen your property or the neighborhood and I'm not famliar with your local market. You can get much better answers from local business brokers, who can look over your store and who know the area. Call a few local agents who are handling business sales and ask if they would come over for a consultation. Most will agree to do so with no obligation to you.
