Seller Backing Out 2

What if I wanted to back out of selling my home? Can the buyers of my home sue me?
Thanks,
Rita

First of all, anyone can sue anyone any time. That's not the question. Could you end up in legal trouble if you break your contract of sale? Yes, you could. There is even a special type of lawsuit, for "specific performance" that would ask the court to order you to go ahead with the sale. No telling what these particular buyers would do of course. Take the whole matter to your own lawyer promptly for advice and information.
