What recorse to I have if a seller defaults on the contract the day of settlement? |

Talk with the best real estate lawyer you can find. Take in all the documents you have for an efficient interview. YOu may want to sue for damages to recover the expenses you've been put to. You may want to sue for "specific performance," which would require the seller to go through with the deal. You may have a good case or not, depending on other factors I don't know about, but your own attorney is the person to consult at this point. |
