Refinancing

I am refinancing my home through a mortgage company and would like to know if it is wise / necessary to hire an attorney to look out for my best interests or is this pretty standard. The company is telling me it is not needed.
Thank you!
Dennis

I hesitate to tell anyone they don't need a lawyer, but it's true that you don't need any assurances of clear title at this point.  It's not usual to use an attorney for a refinance.
