Hello,
My husband and I just bought a townhouse in the city. We paid 260k, with 10k back from the seller for the MD closing costs. The house was just appraised for 270. We will probably be moving after three years living here. We figured we should stop throwing away money in rent every month. We had a 5% down payment for a house from wedding gifts. With the way the market is right now, some people have said that we have made a mistake and should have continued renting.
What do you think?
