Overhanging Tree

Can a neighbour force an owner of a healthy tree to trim the tree, so that none of hangs over the property line?

I believe that the neighbour can trim the limbs that hang over the property line, in her/her "airspace", but it would be at the neighbour's expense and NOT the owner of the healty tree. Am I correct?

Further, if an otherwise healthy tree falls, due to an act of nature, the owner of the otherwise healthy tree is not responsible for damage to neighbour's property.

Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Neighbor owns whatever is in his or her air space and can trim the tree at will, but would be responsible if that killed the tree.
If tree falls on neighbor's land and causes damage -- turn the whole matter over to your insurance company.  That's my best advice.
