  Is there a way to find out how much other offers have been on a house I potentially want to buy?
 
  If the seller doesn't want to tell you, the seller's agent is not allowed to.  If you're using your own buyer's agent, sometimes your broker can elicit some information informally -- brokers know how to do that.
