Offer Not in Writing |

Are emails or verbal statements binding?
Listing agent has never submitted my offer in writing, says owner insists on verbal only. My offer submitted supposedly. Owner submits counter by email. My acceptance submitted by agent verbally.
Owner does not accept. Is this acceptable?

In the sale of real estate, nothing is binding unless it's in writing. Next time insist on written offer, counter-offer, and acceptance. |
