got a listing as a 3 family ,now found out that it is only a legal two family ,what should i tell all who make inquiry to the property? |

It sounds as if you are an agent, right? You must certainly tell the truth about the zoning status of property you're marketing. It wouldn't be any defense, later, that you were relying on what the seller told you. Not if you really knew better -- and you are expected to check the zoning status. The seller could be in a legal mess later unless the true situation is disclosed, and you should explain that to your client. |
