Hello,
Just wondering if there was some type of law that applies to a one year warranty for a new home purchase?...i have heard both sides of the story, first that a seller has stated he will warranty the home for one year as a bonus...and then also that is crazy because it is a legal obiligation to warranty the home for one year...Any information you can share would be appreciated...Thanks!! |

I can't seem to find out if Massachusetts requires a warranty from new home builders. I know my state, New York, does. All I can suggest is that you call the local Homebuilders Association and inquire.
