Nearby Railway Lines

The house we are interested in buying has 2 near by (not adjacent but about half mile apart) railway lines on 2 sides. it doesn't seem to be busy route. But is it geenrally considered a -ve point? Will I have trouble selling the property in future ?

You can tell by analyzing the history of recent neighborhood sales what the buying public has voted about those railway lines.  Probably the price of houses in the area already reflects a discount because of them.
