Missed Out on the Lot |

I would like to purchase the lot adjoining my own. The lot was listed and under contract all within the week I was away on vacation. Can I offer to buy the potential purchasers out of their contract or do I just have to wait and hope the contract falls through? |

You can certainly offer to take over the contract, giving the purchasers some kind of profit. No harm in trying. You could also contact the seller; if the seller is motivated enough, sometimes their attorney can find an "out" of the existing contract.
