Measuring Uneven Lot |
| |
 |
How do I determine the size of a real estate lot with irregular dimensions. For example, I know that a rectangular lot which measures 75' x 150' contains 11, 250 square feet. How would I measure a lot which had one side of 215', another side of 128', an across the front measure of 152',and across the back measure of 53'. Your assistance is appreciated. Gary |

Gary, I can't tell you how to measure that without knowing at what angles those sides come off the front. Once you had a good diagram, you could divide the space up into right-angle triangles, measure each of those separately, then add them together. |
