Making Improvements |
| |
 |
I would like to make some changes to my home, but I'd like to do some investigating first to find out the return value of my planned home improvements. (To be clear, the improvements are for my use first, but I'd like to keep resale clearly in mind, at the same time.)
Can you recommend any resources I could use to help determine the value of, say, an additional bathroom, or what level quality of materials to buy?
I'm not sure where to even start to look for that kind of information!
Thanks so much!! |

Local real estate brokers can judge better than I can, because they know buyers' expectations in your neighborhood, and they can ask you about the present condition of your home. Call some nearby offices, ask to speak with a experienced broker (not a salesperson) and you may be surprised at how much advice and information you can receive.
