Lender Nixed the Sale

I am selling my condo under a short sale and the lender finally made a decision- DECLINED. The buyers have been patiently waiting and are still interested in the property. What can we do now to make this sale happen?

It would appear that the buyers are really negotiating with your lender, so perhaps you can get some idea of what price would be acceptable, and see if your buyers can swing that.  I hope you have a good agent dealing with the lending institution.  Or even better, your own real estate lawyer.
Otherwise all I can see is selling for what you can get and making up the shortfall on the mortgage yourselves.  But I suppose if your lender has agreed to a short sale, you don't have much spare cash lying around...
