Inspector Finds Problems

It would be most helpful if your purchase contract (which is, I assume, contingent on the inspector's report) had already set out how much money the seller would pay if necessary to make repairs.  If that hasn't be agreed upon already -- then you'll have to work with your agent and/or lawyer negotiating and making decisions about the problems.  I'm afraid I can't guide you from this distance.
