What is the advantage or disadvantage from buying a home from a relocation company? The house we are looking to buy has been on the market for over 46 days and has not one bidder. They are asking 229,900 but the house has many small issues that the orignal owner can not fix since she relocated. What should my asking price be? |

There's no way I can tell what that house is worth (or what the relocation company will accept). But one thing we know for sure -- it isn't worth $229,900. If it were, someone would have come forth and bought it at that price.
A local broker can advise you much better than I could, and you may want to hire a buyers' agent to guide you through the process of negotiating the purchase. |
