I would like to know how to find out about a house next door to my current residence that has been vacant for two and a half years now |

You can go down to your local property tax office and look at the tax records, which are open to the public. That should give you the owner's name and probably the mailing address. Or you can hire a lawyer (or, less expensive, a real estate broker) by the hour to investigate for you. That way you'll have someone experienced to negotiate for you if you do want to try dealing with the owner. |
