House Built by Agent

I recently found out that the person who built my house was a real estate agent and ran his office out of the same real estate agency we used to find a house. His wife is the agency's broker and his brother is also an agent at the same firm. Should our agent have told us that the builder had ties to her agency considering she was supposed to be representing us?

If the house was owned by a licensed agent, if the seller was licensed, you had a right to know.  Otherwise, I don't think the history of the place was important in its value, which is I suppose what you're asking about.
