Help with Realt Estate Jargon

We went to open houses this weekend and picked up various fliers. When we got home we realized there were some terms we didn’t understand. Obviously sqft is square footage and hdwdflrs is hardwood floors but we were stumped by DOM and OLP.

Real estate like any business has its own terms, abbreviations and lingo.  The descriptive abbreviations are becoming less pervasive with all of the advertising on the internet.  Online there is enough space to say ‘Beautiful five bedroom four and a half bath traditional home’ verses the less picturesque ‘5+4.5 Trad.’  Specifically DOM is Days On Market and OLP is Original List Price.  My favorite new bit of jargon came just this week from my friend Mary.  She texted me that she’d seen ‘4 nice hice’, hice being the hip new plural of house.
