Geothermal Heat Pump |

My husbands wants to install a geothermal heat pump system. He started exploring this option just after he wrote a $4K check to prepay our fuel bill.
My concern is that, although geothermal is growing in popularity, it is still quite unconventional. And although we don't have plans to sell in the near future, are we making an investment that will hurt our resale? |

Perhaps your husband can manage an installation that leaves your present system in place as an option. I can't imagine a heat pump would hurt a resale, though you might not count on recouping your investment. |
