Frig Doesn't Work |

We just closed on our home and are moving in. We find that the refrigrator does not work! The Frig was part of the home sale. Now what? Who is responsible to get it working. I assumed it was functional? Should they have not told us it didn't work? |

The amount involved is just right for small claims court. Before you do that, send a certified letter to the sellers asking for the price of a new refrigerator and expaining that you are ready to discuss the matter and come to some arrangement. Keep a copy of your letter, because if you can't work things out, it's worth taking the matter to small claims court and seeing what a judge has to say. |
